Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and AmosVPN Single Member Private Company for the use of AmosVPN. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here seems unfair, tell us at support@amosvpn.com — that is a real invitation.
1. Who you are contracting with
AmosVPN Single Member Private Company, a single-member private company registered in Greece, at 131 Germanou Str, 26224 Patras, Greece. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company; "you" means the person using the service.
2. Accepting these terms
Creating an account or using the service means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
3. What the service is
AmosVPN routes your internet traffic through our servers over an encrypted tunnel. It changes which IP address the sites you visit see, and it prevents your network operator from reading your traffic.
It is not anonymity, and we will not pretend otherwise. A VPN does not defeat account logins, browser fingerprinting, malware on your device, or an adversary who can watch both ends of a connection. Anyone selling a VPN as complete anonymity is overselling it.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for what happens under your account. An email address is optional — but if you do not give one, we have no way to verify that a recovery request comes from you, and we will not be able to restore access to a lost account. That is a deliberate consequence of letting you stay anonymous, not an oversight.
Your plan allows a fixed number of devices connected at once: ten on Pro, five on Lite. You may not share your account with people outside your household or resell access.
5. Acceptable use
We are a privacy service, not a shield for harming other people. You may not use AmosVPN to:
- break the law of a country that applies to you;
- attack, scan, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system or network;
- send spam or run bulk unsolicited messaging;
- distribute malware, or operate phishing or fraud infrastructure;
- produce, hold or distribute child sexual abuse material;
- harass, threaten, stalk or defame anyone;
- infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the service without our written agreement.
We do not monitor your traffic and we could not enforce these rules by watching you — we act on credible reports and on abuse complaints reaching our network providers.
6. Payment and renewal
Prices are shown before you buy, in the currency displayed at checkout, and include VAT where it applies. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current price for that term, unless you cancel first. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your current term running to its end.
If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does — never after.
7. Refunds and your right to withdraw
Seven days, refunded in full, provided your account has moved less than 15 GB. Write to support@amosvpn.com within 7 days of a payment and, if you are under that figure, we return it by the method you paid with. No retention call, no interrogation, no partial credit.
To apply that condition we keep a running total of the data your account has moved. It is one number attached to your account. It is not a record of where the data went, when you connected, or what was in it.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a longer right that we cannot shorten: 14 days, with no 15 GB condition.
You may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. That right comes from the law, not from us, so the 15 GB condition does not apply to it and neither does the 7-day window above.
Where you asked us to begin providing the service immediately inside that period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the part you actually used before withdrawing. Nothing in this section removes or limits the right itself.
Refunds may be refused where an account has been used to breach section 5, or where the refund is being used repeatedly to obtain free service.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 5, that is being used fraudulently, or where we are legally required to. Where the circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of your term.
You may close your account at any time, for any reason, without telling us why.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Servers go down, networks are censored, routes degrade, and maintenance happens. Any figure we publish about performance or connectivity describes what we measured, not a guarantee of what you will get.
10. Third-party services
Names and logos of other services shown on our site are used only to indicate compatibility. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any of them, and we cannot promise that any particular third-party service will work through the VPN — they change their own systems constantly and are entitled to.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section.
12. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the service, and we may change these terms. For changes that materially affect you, we will give reasonable notice before they take effect, and — where we hold an address for you — tell you directly. If you do not accept a change, you may close your account and we will refund the unused part of your term.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Greece, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country's law, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
Before either of us goes to court, please write to support@amosvpn.com. Most disputes turn out to be misunderstandings, and we would rather fix one than argue about it.
14. Everything else
- If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours if the business is sold, provided your rights are not reduced.
- These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us.
